Booking a massage or beauty treatment has never been easier—thanks to Bokadirekt. Here, Swedes book everything from haircuts and eyelash extensions to massages and nail treatments—quickly and smoothly. But Bokadirekt is much more than a booking platform.

“We also offer our customers a comprehensive business system that helps beauty businesses manage staff, POS systems, customer records, and other critical functions,” says Björn Källén, CFO at Bokadirekt. “In addition, we’ve developed a payment solution that supports both in‑salon and online payments through popular services such as Apple Pay, Klarna, and Swish.”

Bokadirekt’s journey — a growing company facing new challenges

With more than two million users each month, Bokadirekt’s marketplace has revolutionized the booking experience within beauty and wellness. But rapid growth brings new challenges. As the customer base expanded and invoicing volumes increased, it became clear that the legacy system had its limitations. Manual processes created unnecessary bottlenecks, and the system was unable to handle the increased workload or meet the demands for modern automation and seamless integration. In addition to these challenges, the need for improved internal controls, more efficient reporting, and advanced Business Intelligence became increasingly apparent.

To continue its growth journey, Bokadirekt needed a modern solution—a system that would not only streamline operations in the short term, but also pave the way for continued growth, both in Sweden and in new markets.

Today, Business Central is at the core of Bokadirekt’s operations and has contributed to significant improvements in both workflows and follow‑up.
