Sveafastigheter manages over 460 companies in its new ERP – Business Central

In April 2023, Sveafastigheter upgraded to Business Central after having worked in NAV for many years. Following the upgrade, Sveafastigheter expanded the number of companies in the solution on several occasions during 2023 and 2024, and today more than 460 companies are managed in the solution.

“During audits, the multi‑company solution allows us to generate reports from all our companies at the same time, which makes our work much more efficient. We can now also easily categorize our report outputs based on different criteria, such as regions. Thanks to customizations, we no longer need to create manual journal entries in each individual company; instead, we can post across multiple companies at once, which has been a tremendous help for us.”

You can create payment proposals for your companies in a single batch, reconcile vendor payments, and calculate and post VAT settlements for multiple companies at the same time. At Sveafastigheter, we have also used the Eagle app to monitor key metrics in a single view—for example, showing the number of overdue purchase or customer invoices that need to be handled across different companies. When onboarding several new companies at once, the multi‑company solution also makes it possible to control and apply many settings consistently across the companies you set up.”

The collaboration with NAB works very well. We are happy with the quick response times and the support we receive. We have close and easy communication and can discuss questions back and forth with each other. We also feel that we have received excellent support in urgent situations—for example, when we needed to add 50 companies to enable a fresh start during a period with many public holidays. NAB stepped in and resolved the task, allowing us to complete what we needed on time.
