Bellman Group brings everything together in one ERP from Microsoft with NAB

Bellman Group is more than a group of companies — it’s a powerful engine in the infrastructure and civil construction industry. With operations spanning everything from rock blasting to site preparation and land clearing, Bellman Group has grown rapidly by bringing together entrepreneurial drive and specialized expertise under one roof.

Behind every project is a network of companies, employees, and subcontractors working together to deliver some of the country’s most complex infrastructure projects. But with growth also came growing pains.

“When you grow through acquisitions at the pace we do — two company groups per year — complexity increases quickly. Each company has its own way of working, and eventually we reached a tipping point where we needed to simplify reporting and future-proof the group’s structure,” says Gabriella Fällman, CIO at Bellman Group.

A shared platform in Business Central

After a procurement process, the choice fell on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central — and on NAB as the implementation partner, following strong recommendations and a positive first impression.

The project began with a comprehensive pre-study in 2023, where NAB worked closely with Bellman Group to map the current environment, the needs of the different companies, and which systems needed to be integrated.

“The solution was a Streamline implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Online, where all companies are gradually rolled out into the same system with a shared chart of accounts and dimension structure. This was combined with integrations to industry-specific systems, as well as support for digital invoice management through ExFlow and reporting through Power BI,” says Maja Suzuki, Application Specialist at NAB Solutions.

A future-proof group structure

Since the new solution was introduced, Bellman Group has already seen several concrete improvements:

• Shared processes and ways of working: As more companies are rolled out, more of the group operates in the same system, simplifying group reporting and increasing transparency.
• Time savings: Manual work has decreased significantly — especially in reporting and consolidation.
• Better control and traceability: With a shared dimension structure and integrated supporting systems, Bellman Group can analyze its operations in entirely new ways.
• Scalability: The solution is built for continued growth — new companies can easily be added to the same structure.
• Power BI reporting: Financial and operational data can now be analyzed and visualized at the group level.
