Green Grove Supply was founded to meet the growing need for a reliable supplier dedicated to the greenhouse and gardening community. They provide a wide range of high-quality garden products, supplies, and agricultural essentials designed to support growers of all sizes. But like any ambitious grower knows, fertile soil only gets you so far. If the roots aren’t supported, the plant can’t thrive.
Green Grove Supply was thriving, but success had revealed cracks in their operational backbone. The areas that mattered most – Inventory & Assembly Management, Order/Invoicing, Payment Application Management, and Reporting – were slowing the company down. It was clear that Green Grove needed more than a quick fix – a tailored, strategic approach was required to streamline these critical operations and turn complexity into clarity. The implementation of Business Central delivered end-to-end solutions for Green Grove Supply, with a focus on the areas that had previously caused the most operational friction. Inventory & Assembly Management: Green Grove now has a comprehensive system for SKUs, quantities on hand, BOM component lists, and more; Improving both internal operations and customer-facing reporting. Order & Invoicing: Teams gained real-time visibility into customer and vendor records, overdue balances, live inventory figures, and customized invoices, order confirmations, and checks. Payment Management: Processes such as reconciliation, check printing, and payment application are now streamlined, fully GAAP-compliant, and integrated with extensive financial reporting, including Aged Receivables/Payables, Trial Balances, and Income Statement/Balance Sheet/Retained Earnings/Cash Flow statements. Reporting: Out-of-the-box reports were enhanced with targeted customizations – like check margin edits, sales header fields, and BOM component lists – providing actionable insights where standard reports fell short. Together, these improvements created a system tailored to Green Grove’s workflows, giving the team greater efficiency, accuracy, and confidence in day-to-day operations while supporting future growth.
