Qred needed an ERP built for a full‑scale bank

When Qred was founded in 2015, the goal was clear: to make it easier for small businesses to grow through simple, digital financing solutions. With a customer base of more than 50,000 companies across eight countries and a banking license from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority granted in spring 2023, the company has undergone an impressive transformation—from a fintech company to a full‑scale bank.

A growing business in need of the right partner

As Qred continued to grow, new needs emerged that required more advanced solutions. To manage increasing regulatory requirements and enable the introduction of deposit products as part of its journey as a bank, Qred needed to find a partner that could support the next phase.

“We needed a partner that could offer deeper expertise and a more proactive collaboration to meet our growing needs—primarily related to integrations and automated workflows,” says Johan Ingman, Head of Financial Control at Qred.

Following a recommendation from Qred’s CTO, who had previous experience working with NAB, they decided to move to a solution capable of meeting their high requirements.

NAB delivers scalability and efficiency

With NAB as a partner, the change became clear. Thanks to NAB’s expertise in banking and financial systems, Qred was able to build a stable technical foundation for continued growth. NAB built integrations between Qred’s systems and external banks such as Nordea, automating the handling of deposit flows and transactions. This minimized manual work and increased both efficiency and accuracy. To meet the requirements of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, NAB contributed to the development of ISO reports, which today form a cornerstone of Qred’s reporting. NAB also helped Qred optimize the use of its ERP system, enabling the business to scale without increasing personnel costs.

“Since moving to NAB, we’ve doubled the size of our operations, added two new markets for lending, and introduced a new savings account product in both Sweden and Germany. This has made it possible for us to handle the increased workload with fewer employees, which has both reduced costs and improved efficiency,” says Johan Ingman.

A collaboration built on understanding and solutions

A key factor behind the success was NAB’s ability to understand Qred’s needs and deliver solutions that made a difference from day one.

“Working with NAB has been a very positive experience. Their consultants are both knowledgeable and proactive, which makes them easy to work with. They’re always solution‑oriented and have a clear understanding of our needs,” says Johan Ingman.

For NAB, the collaboration has also been a success.

“We wanted to create a solution that not only helped Qred in the short term, but also gave them the ability to grow quickly and sustainably. Their vision and commitment made it possible for us to deliver at the highest level,” says Johannes Polland, Application Consultant at NAB Solutions.

A solution for long‑term growth

Thanks to the collaboration with NAB, Qred has built a scalable operation capable of meeting future challenges. With efficient systems, improved workflows, and support for new markets and products, the foundation has been laid for continued success.
